Below is a complete overview of the steps and process to get your company up and running with SHAMS.

AED 13,420 (Includes: Business license, Share Register, Incorporation Certificate, Shared Desk, Visa allocation)

Additional Immigration Card cost AED 1500 for 3 years

STAGE 1 TOTAL: AED 14,920 – Need to pay and start

STAGE 2 - After Immigration card approval - when you want to start the visa processing you pay:

Investor visa cost AED 3500 valid for 3 years  

E-Channel Fee – AED 7150 (includes AED 5000 refundable security deposit paid one time for the company)

General Trading License One visa package

AED 17,420 (Includes: Business license, Share Register, Incorporation Certificate, Shared office, Visa Allocation, Tenancy/Lease agreement)

The Immigration/Establishment Card cost needs to be paid separately AED 1500 for 3 years

STAGE 1 TOTAL: AED 18,920 – Need to pay and start

STAGE 2 - After Immigration card approval - when you wish to start the visa processing you pay:

Investor visa cost AED 3500 valid for 3 years  

E-Channel Fee – AED 7150 (includes AED 5000 refundable security deposit paid one time for the company)

All things listed below are mandatory to be paid before you can process you visa (both investor and employee

- Color passport copies of the shareholders along with visa page or last entry stamp of UAE

- The application form to be filled (attached)

- Authorized signatory form

- 2 Passport size color pics

Promotion:

Take a 1 visa package and get total of 3 activities on the license.

  • The activity can be a combination of service and trading both under same license.

  • Selecting a visa package in advance will save you an upgrade fee of AED 2000
  • A visa package will allow you 2 additional free activities. Each activity otherwise will cost you AED 2000

Terms and Conditions

1. The offer is valid till 31st July 2019.

2. Valid on new licenses only.

3. This offer is valid for the Standard Packages.

4. The 20% discount offered on the license fee, shared desk and visa allocation fees and not on Immigration fees, Visa fees or e-channel deposit and registration.

5. This offer is valid for one-year license packages only. For multiple years, the discount of 15% for 2 years and 20% for 3 years on license fees is applicable.

6. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers by Sharjah Media City (Shams).

7. Standard license rates apply at the time of renewal. 

8. Terms and conditions of the Shams General Policies apply.

1. What documents are required to set up a company in SHAMS Free Zone?

The required documents include colour passport copies of all shareholders along with the visa page or last UAE entry stamp, a completed application form, an authorised signatory form, two passport-size colour photographs, and payment confirmation.

2. What is the two-stage payment process for SHAMS Free Zone company setup?

Stage 1 covers the business license, share register, incorporation certificate, shared desk, visa allocation, and immigration card cost — payable upfront to initiate the process. Stage 2 is paid after immigration card approval and covers the investor visa fee (AED 3,500 valid for 3 years) and the E-Channel fee (AED 7,150, which includes a one-time refundable AED 5,000 security deposit).

3. What types of licenses does SHAMS Free Zone offer and what do they include?

SHAMS offers Commercial, Service, Professional, and General Trading licenses. All packages include a business license, share register, incorporation certificate, and visa allocation. General Trading license packages additionally include a shared office and tenancy agreement. Packages support up to 6 visa allocations depending on the chosen plan.
